1. Your Relationship with Renomate
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Renomate for your use of our renovation project management platform, including project tracking, budgeting, timelines, collaborator features, and related services.
2. Accepting These Terms
By accessing or using Renomate, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
3. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, security needs, or business operations. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
4. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be legally permitted to use the service in your jurisdiction. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep it updated, and protect your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account and workspace.
5. Account Security and Suspension
If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts where necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, unpaid charges, or breach of these Terms.
6. Access and Acceptable Use
You must not misuse Renomate, including by reverse engineering, scraping, introducing malicious code, bypassing access controls, or using the service for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes. You must not upload content you do not have rights to use (for example contractor documents, floor plans, invoices, or site photos).
7. User Content and Data
You retain ownership of content you upload to Renomate, including project details, timelines, costs, notes, documents, and images. You grant Renomate a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
8. Intellectual Property
Renomate and its licensors own all rights in the platform, including software, interface design, branding, templates, and documentation, except for content that you own. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
9. Paid Plans, Billing, and Renewals
Paid Renomate features may require a subscription. You agree to applicable pricing, billing intervals, renewal terms, taxes, and payment processor terms presented at purchase. Plan limits (for example number of projects or feature access) apply based on your active subscription and entitlements.
10. Third-Party Services
Renomate uses third-party services for core operations (for example authentication, cloud infrastructure, billing, and communications). Your use of those services may be subject to separate third-party terms and policies.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Renomate is intended to operate in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
12. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and may perform planned or emergency maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, including synchronisation of project updates across collaborators at all times.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Renomate is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Renomate and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Renomate, its affiliates, and personnel from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your uploaded content, your collaborator permissions, or your breach of these Terms.
16. Termination
You may stop using Renomate at any time. We may terminate or suspend access as set out in these Terms. Clauses that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. By using Renomate, you agree that Singapore law applies regardless of where you access the service from or where you are located. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
